    What is it?

    FreeToGo is the roadside assistance programme designed especially for Fiat Group Automobiles customers: a service package valid throughout Europe (*), which offers exceptional functionality and an all-round package.

    How it works

    To access this Service, all you need to do is:

    • call the special CIAOFIAT free phone number, 00800 34280000
    • or connect via CIAO FIAT MOBILE, the free iPhone app.

    You can benefit from FreeToGo services for the two years of your vehicle's original warranty.

    Has your vehicle's original warranty period run out?
    Subject to availability at the Fiat Professional Authorised Service Network centre of your choice, you can benefit from a FreeToGo (**) courtesy car (at extra cost) for the time required to repair your vehicle.

    With FreeToGo++, each time your vehicle undergoes a Scheduled Service you will be able to access FreeToGo services for a further two years.

    * Please consult the vehicle's Warranty Booklet for service delivery methods, conditions, limitations and exclusions.
    ** Service may only be offered by dealerships subscribing to the initiative and holding the required licenses

    The benefits

    Here are the services which you can benefit from during the two years of your vehicle's original warranty.

    Mobile workshop
    The provision of an onsite mechanic in the case of vehicle breakdown due to a fault, tyre puncture, flat battery, running out of fuel or a refuelling error.

    Towing to your nearest authorised assistance point in the case of vehicle breakdown.

    Courtesy vehicle
    If your vehicle has to be repaired following a fault, depending on the repair time.

    Travel expenses
    Taxi Service to the train station or car hire point in the case of vehicle breakdown

    Return home or onward journey
    If your vehicle is immobilised more than 50 km from home.

    Hotel expenses
    Hotel accommodation if your vehicle is immobilised more than 50 km from home

    Repaired vehicle pick up
    Reimbursement of your travel expenses to pick up a repaired vehicle immobilised more than 50 km from home. 

    Unrepaired vehicle repatriation (Service valid for vehicles with warranty start dates from 01/01/2012)
    If your vehicle is immobilised abroad for more than 5 days, towing from the authorised service point to the customer's home (or assistance centre if present in your town of residence).
